The Centre provides a range of facilities and services including Community Development Programs, Referral Service, Activity Hub, Emergency Relief, Men’s Shed, Lifestyle Support Services, Youth Services, Playgroup, Room Hire and many visiting services.
Wednesdays is Oz Harvest – please bring your own bags, Emergency relief from 10am to 12pm and Community lunch!
We also have our men’s Shed from 9-12 Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Port Douglas Petanque group meets every Wednesday at 3.30pm in the Market Park and at 4pm at the Piste next to the Port Douglas Community Hall.
Games are also played at the piste on Fridays and Sundays at 4pm.
>Everyone’s welcome and we can supply boules and friendly helpers to teach you how to play. It’s not difficult and lots of fun. Bring a chair and a drink and sunscreen. Visitors are welcome too.

We we have reduced space with new guide lines on vessels. [1 per 2 square metres.] and at this stage we have 5 Yachts involved which means we will be able to take approximately 30 passengers out for a sail.
If you are not one of the lucky picked, do not stress. It’s a great spot to enjoy the sunset and have dinner with a few cocktails.

Ladies Who Lunch Book Club (monthly)
This Thursday we are launching the first Chatty Cafe in Queensland, right here in Port Douglas. The Chatty Cafe is a worldwide phenomenon to get people chatting to build social connection and reduce loneliness. Come along upstairs at the Tin Shed from 10am every Thursday for a free cuppa and a chat.
You can visit their ‘Have a Chat’ table every Thursday 10am-11:30am – starting from 21 April.
