Douglas FM is your local community radio station established to ‘Connect the Community’, to give the community a voice, to provide a valuable unifying resource and to contribute to the social welfare and well-being of the community.

To be a local voice for the Douglas Shire community by broadcasting a diverse range of programs made by volunteers to inform, engage, and entertain. We also aim to be of service to, and accessible to community organisations and the broader community in the shire, including through broadcast of community service announcements and interviews.

Douglas FM represents the interests of the entire community of the geographic area of the Douglas Shire, including those who live or spend a substantial amount of time in the licence area for work, study, or leisure purposes.
