Paws and Claws Animal Shelter presents the Dogs Day Out as part of Carnivale 2022. The Dogs Day Out returns with fun and games for four legged friends of all shapes and sizes. A great day for Pets, their owners and animal lovers in general and a fun way to socialise and learn new things with your dog. So, Boys and Girls, Mums and Dads, bring your furry friends to this fun filled event that is sure to get tails wagging. Stall, treats, entertainment and prizes await as we look for:
  • Cutest / Ugliest Dog
  • Naughtiest Dog – Tails of disaster and destruction
  • Dog with waggiest tail
  • Best Dog trick
  • Best Dressed Dog
  • Best Groomed Dog
  • Owner / Dog lookalike
  • Douglas Top Dog
This event supports the Paws and Claws Charity and monies raised go toward building an animal shelter in the Douglas Shire. Its Free, so bring your furry friends to strutt their stuff and have a fun time with us.   Council will have micro-chipping for $20 at the event also so you can be sure if your dog goes a wandering, they’ll be picked up and brought straight back home to you.   NO CATS ALLOWED!
