Mangrove Watch with GBR Legacy
It's that time of year again! MangroveWatch is hosting its second annual mangrove training and monitoring session in Port Douglas! Join GBR Legacy and Cairns and Far North Environment Centre Friday July 18th:
9:00 - 11:00am: Online Mangrove Watch training - learn how to successfully document the health of our mangrove forests, including using video transect methods, and how this data is being used to better manage these important ecosystem.
12:15 - 2:00pm: Following the online session, we will be heading out onto Dickson Inlet thanks to Lady Douglas River Cruise to complete our 2020 monitoring. Meet at Crystalbrook SuperYacht Marina Port Douglas at 12:15pm to join for a fun and educational afternoon!
