New Year's Eve Fireworks Port Douglas
Dixie inlet in Port Douglas will be the place to be with two huge fireworks displays: the family friendly time of 8pm and then the traditional Midnight show. The family fun starts from 5:30 pm with Ace DJ dropping the tunes at the UV GLOW Kids Disco up until the 8pm fireworks. Free face painting and prizes. Dress up in your FLUORO best and get into the GLOWING light show, get your New Year’s off to a fun start. Then in the lead up to midnight, head into town and find yourself a somewhere nice to celebrate before the traditional Midnight Fireworks Display light up the skies as we all look forward to better days in 2022. By working closely with Queensland Health, staff worked hard to ensure Douglas Shire Council is one of the few councils to deliver a midnight fireworks show for its community. Revellers can view the New Year’s Eve fireworks display from various vantage points and are reminded to practice social distancing wherever they may be.
