It’s In The Bag Christmas Appeal

1 October to 6 December

Following on from our amazing donations received during the August “Share the Dignity” drive, we are once again asking for your generous donations for women and teens in need.

Donate to our Christmas collection #itsinthebag. Provide pads and tampons, personal hygiene products and everyday luxuries to homeless women, women at risk or women experiencing domestic violence.

It’s simple. First of all, choose a handbag in good condition that you no longer use or buy something new.  Then, fill it with items that would make a woman feel special, pop in a thoughtful note or Christmas card and show her someone cares. Show her that she matters because everyone deserves to feel that way.

This year we are collecting three different types of bag – it’s up to you what you prefer!

A Nappy bag – please indicate with a tag saying “nappy” or a purple ribbon.

A teen bag – please indicate with a tag saying “teen” or a yellow ribbon.

A bag for women no tag or ribbon.

Next time you’re at the shops, collect a few items for your Christmas handbag. No matter how you celebrate Christmas with your family, this will be the most meaningful and appreciated gift you give this year.

Details of what’s required in the bags are on the images attached, or on the share the dignity website.
