Cow Bay Bike Ride

10th October Community Bike Ride Cow Bay

The Rainforest to Beach Community Bike Ride will feature a 5km and 10km pathway-based rainforest ride starting from Floraville Ice-cream Shop, Cape Tribulation Rd.
Participants will receive a cycling vest and free ice-cream after the ride. Hire Bikes available at the ride start point, these need to be pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance. Please contact Bike Shop and Hire Port Douglas: 4099 5799

After the great disappointment of having to reschedule our July Cairns Tour ( due to border closures) we are now getting so excited for our new dates in October. Its all looking very safe for everything to go ahead! Cant wait to hit the warmth, the water and meet all the fabulous accommodating audiences who have stuck with us. 15th to 23rd October Port Shorts Film Festival

Our focus will now be on the delivery of a Virtual Event. We’ll be bringing you the best short films from our own backyard and around the world. Screened to an even wider audience, offered to everyone, free of charge, everywhere!
Our Virtual Event (15th-23rd October) will be a great way to stay engaged with cinema from around the globe, and just by tuning in, you’ll be helping to support filmmakers and enable Port Shorts to continue into future years.

Beach Hockey Tournament

16th October Beach Hockey

Beach Hockey is a world wide sport and is only currently played in Far North Queensland (Port Douglas). We have 10 Adult teams and 10 Junior teams attending from Townsville, Cairns, Atherton, Cooktown and the Douglas shire, we anticipate there will be over 200 people attending (players and spectators) on the day.
