Share The Dignity – August Donation Drive
Twice a year Share The Dignity ask the public to donate pads and tampons to collection points throughout the country. At the end of the month they donate the thousands of packets of unopened sanitary products to their partner charities.
What’s On In Port in conjunction with Hair By Julia, Bonnies Hair & Beauty, Starwin Shopfront and Douglas Shire Council is proud to be involved in collecting donations from our Douglas Shire community for the August Share The Dignity Drive.
Collection boxes will be placed in Mossman and Port Douglas, so please when you shop, buy an extra packet of tampons or pads and donate in one of the Collection boxes.
At the end of the month these will be collected and sent to the head Office of Share The Dignity and distributed to the thousands of women in need.
