Junior Keepers

5th & 6th, 12th & 13th April Junior Keepers at the WIldlife Habitat

Open to 8 to 14 year olds, Junior Keepers incorporates animal feeding, presentation, interaction and projects to assist our keepers in their day to day schedules, giving the young ones participating an insight into the life of a wildlife keeper.
Keepers and support staff running the program have existing Blue Cards to meet government requirements regarding child care.
As numbers are limited, bookings are essential.

23rd April Beach Cleanup Cape Kimberley

Join us for the quarterly ReefClean clean-up in Cape Kimberley on traditional lands of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people in the beautiful Daintree.
Along with other volunteers you can make a practical contribution to the health of the marine and coastal environment of Far North Queensland.
Tangaroa Blue Foundation Coordinators will meet you at the Cape Kimberley carpark at 9:00am or contact us if you would like a lift north with us with pick-ups from Cairns or Port Douglas.

Tuesdays – Bingo night at the Central
Wednesdays – Karaoke at Plantation Resort
