The iconic Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas is Australia’s leading environmental wildlife experience, providing visitors with a chance to observe a huge range of flora and fauna up close in a spacious interactive setting.

The park is a leader in wildlife experience eco-tourism. With 4 distinct environments set over 8 acres of land, the natural habitat locations allow for an open and immersive experience providing guests and wildlife freedom and space to interact,  with over 100 native animal species and over 600 individual animals to see.

Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas also offers unique dining experiences.

Nestled in Wetlands is Curlew Café. Experience an array of sounds and colours of our wandering native birdlife as you enjoy Breakfast with the birds daily from 0900 am or Lunch with the Lorikeets from daily from noon.

Interactive bird experiences accompany these dining options in Curlew Café,  with the morning presentation at 0900 am and the afternoon presentation at 1230 pm.

Free guided tours operate throughout the day and the Presentation Hut area allows you to learn about pythons, koalas, crocodiles and birds with photo opportunities available (optional extra).

Entry is valid for 5 days ( conditions apply) .

How to get here:
Drive your car from for the short 5 minute trip from the centre of Port Douglas.
Local shuttle buses operate regularly from accommodation houses and town centre and will drop you to the bus stop at our door.
