Meet the Joey at Wildlife Habitat
It's a GIRL! Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas is one furry, padded paw closer to revealing the name of their new koala joey. On Friday 8th of July, 2022, the award winning park will host a “Meet the Joey” day where the adorable little marsupial’s name will be revealed for the first time. The Wildlife Habitat team will have fun give aways for the kids with fun Koala facts, wildlife posters and more! Curlew Café will be serving “koala-ity” snacks and light meals, and all visitors can get the chance to enter in a drawing to win 1 of 5 family passes to the all-new “Breakfast with the Birds” that includes not only the opportunity to hand feed tropical birds, but Koala’s as well! There will be additional events to engage in during the day, including Koala presentations by wildlife keepers, at the new koala cafe enclosure in the Wetlands habitat, special prices on koala photos, and more!
